Flying High Partnership
We are proud to be part of the Flying High Trust, a partnership of primary schools across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City.
We are Flying High
Together we will create unique, exceptional and sustainable schools that inspire communities and empower children.
Centred on meaningful partnership, our schools focus on collaboration and internal support whilst always remaining outward facing. We all share a common purpose and vision – the key is to ensure our schools retain their uniqueness and ethos that enables them to meet the needs of their communities. We are all in this together and have a collective responsibility to maintain a distinct culture that supports the development of the children across our schools. By the end of their primary education we aim for all our children to be ready for secondary school and be inspired to be the best they can be.

Teacher Training
Did you know we support trainee teachers?
We take great pride in our partnership with Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training to nurture aspiring teachers. Trainee teachers receive exceptional support from both ILTT and our school during their placements. As an Ofsted 'Outstanding' partner, Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training offers various pathways to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), such as SCITT and assessment only routes for Early Years, Primary and Secondary.
The majority of training occurs within school with additional training days led by experienced teachers and leaders. Our school actively participates by providing Primary trainees with opportunities to interview and/or train within our school. Here, they benefit from the expert support, training, and guidance offered by our experienced teachers, subject specialists and learning coaches.
“All trainees are very well prepared for the realities of teaching, including in different settings. In the primary phase, trainees gain exceptional knowledge and skills.” Ofsted, 2023.
If you are passionate about education and want to make a difference in the lives of young people, we invite you to find out more. For information, school experience or to explore teacher training possibilities, visit the ILTT website at https://inspiringleadersscitt.com/.
Ofsted Report - Ofsted - Inspiring Leaders - Teacher Training (inspiringleadersscitt.com)
“We were learning in a school based environment and surrounded by supportive people who made us feel part of the family. Our Professional Lead was so invested in us and always had time for me even after graduating. It made all the difference in my early career.”
