Horsendale school has an active Parents' Group and all parents of children in the school are automatically eligible to join. Although our Parents' Group is essentially a fund raising body, their purpose is also to help the school to help your child. It assists the school greatly in many ways and organises regular events, giving up their free time to organise and run them ‑ social as well as educational.
Events managed by the group include our fantastic Summer and Winter Fairs, discos and regular cake sales.
Money raised goes towards many things for the children such as trips and the coach costs, visitors to school, annual Panto visit, SATs treats, water bottles, Reception book bags, our reading shed, Year 6 leavers gifts, Wonderdome Science visit, gazebo, equipment and enrichment.
The Group holds regular meetings. New members are always welcome! If you are interested in becoming a member of the group, please come along to one of the meetings (advertised in our Newsletters) or send your contact details to them via the the school office.
