Welcome to our Children's Parliament page
Our first Children's Parliament event for 2023-24 was a day at the Inspiring Leaders' Student Conference at Nottingham Trent University. Our Children's Parliament representatives loved the day, along with their Flying High peers, and are full of ideas as to how they can work on sustainability back at school!
This year's first children's Parliament session was today, 24th November, at Hucknall Flying High Academy.
Two of our children, representing Horsendale, went along with Mrs Flint and Mrs Tunney to join in the with other representatives from across the Trust Schools.
This year we were joined by the Global Quality Collective (https://twitter.com/GECCollect), who set our children challenges to bring back to school.
We are all very proud of our two representatives, as soon as they returned to school they went to find Mrs Smalley to schedule a meeting!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
