Dear Families & Dragonflies,
Welcome back everyone! We hope you have had an amazing break and had chance to relax
I hope you and your children are looking forward to all the fun and
challenges that we will focus on in this coming year. We are really looking forward to a fabulous first term together!
Our first term begins with answering the enquiry question ‘What makes a leader great?’
Please keep an eye on Class Dojo as we cannot wait to show you all the things we are doing in class.
We would just like to give you a little information that you might find useful over the next few weeks:
a test each Friday. There will also be the interactive spellings task as an optional extra on Purple Mash. They will be given spellings on a weekly basis. This is crucial for the writing assessments.
Meet the Teacher: Come and find out more about the year and ask any questions. This will take place on Monday 13th September, 3:00-3:15pm. Please go to the school office for 3:00 and you will be directed to the classroom.
Theme Day – This year’s Theme Day will take place on Wednesday 1st December. Your child is welcome to come dressed up to reflect African culture or African animals, otherwise please send your children in school uniform. On this day, you will be invited into school to share part of the day – more details will be shared closer to the date.
