In Autumn 2022, we would like to continue to offer children in Years 2-6, the opportunity to learn a musical instrument in addition to their class music lessons. Research has shown the many benefits of learning a musical instrument and we would love to provide this opportunity to enrich your child’s musical education. The lessons will be provided by a member of the Inspire Music team weekly within the school day, in a designated room at school. All instrumental teachers have had the appropriate safeguarding checks. Inspire is a mutual benefit society and is the lead partner of the Nottinghamshire Music Education Hub. Inspire Music teachers are fully trained, qualified and offer much more than just standard peripatetic music tuition.
Lessons can be held individually or in pairs. The lessons are organised termly so that no-one is tied to a long-term agreement. Subject to interest, we can continue to offer lessons in guitar, ukulele or keyboard. Ukulele is recommended as a starting instrument for younger children before guitar.
Please find a breakdown of the different types of sessions for these instrumental lessons below. All lessons are organised on a termly basis with a minimum of 10 lessons.
