Horsendale is situated on a delightful campus north west of the City of Nottingham. We cater for children from 4 to 11 years of age. The school enjoys excellent facilities. We have seven large classrooms, an ICT suite, a library area, a well equipped hall as well as extensive outside sports facilities and play areas.
Horsendale Primary School has an excellent reputation and we work hard to maintain it. The school is very special because of its hard-working, caring team of teachers and support staff, whose contribution is valued by governors, parents and children. There is a positive ethos and atmosphere that pervades the school, making it a very happy place to be and as a consequence the children’s attitude to learning is excellent.
Horsendale Primary School is one in which ‘pupils’ behaviour is exemplary.’ Where ‘high levels of mutual respect and good humour are evident’ and ‘pupils have impeccable manners. The school is a welcoming place where learning takes place unhindered. Pupils from varied backgrounds get on noticeably well with each other. Awareness of the multi-cultural world is a major strength……. Leaders make sure that there is no discrimination of any kind. Parents speak highly about the approachability of the staff.’
